It\u2019s been nearly a year since we first launched HEX condoms<\/a>, and we have come a very long way from the first 600,000 condoms sold in our HEX Indiegogo campaign<\/a>. Below, you\u2019ll find some of the most interesting statistics about HEX sales in its first year.<\/p>\n

Having received several prestigious awards, not to mention many positive reviews of HEX<\/a>, is definitely an honor, but there are some far more encouraging stats that we have seen in our first year.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s Hear it for the Girls<\/h2>\n

While during our Indiegogo campaign, we saw only 27% female HEX buyers, that number has climbed by nearly 10%. Paired with other global trends<\/a> showing women to be much more comfortable with, and in charge of, their sexual safety and health, we are happy to see that the future of HEX is definitely female.<\/p>\n

Young, Not-so-Dumb, and Full of\u2026.<\/h2>\n

\u2026knowledge about safer sex practices of course! Our first year of HEX sales also saw almost a quarter of users to be 18-24, which, in the face of the ever-evolving STI crisis<\/a>, is greatly encouraging!<\/p>\n

Big Spenders in Alabama<\/h2>\n

California, New York, and Texas may be racking up the biggest numbers by condoms sold, but if you look at condom sales per population, they aren\u2019t even in the top 10: those honors go to Alabama, Oregon, and South Carolina respectively.<\/p>\n

For the states experiencing the quietest nights by population size, we have Arkansas in last place, followed closely by South Dakota and Wyoming.<\/p>\n

Confident Condom Connoisseurs<\/h2>\n

Don’t\u00a0feel too bad about Wyoming; they may not be buying as many condoms as people in other states, but they are buying them a lot more confidently\u2014not a single 3-pack has been bought there, only 12- and 36-packs, in next to equal amounts!<\/p>\n
