The only case we\u2019ve found was in the Pediatrics medical journal from 2000. A 14-year-old boy went to the Emergency Room claiming scrotal pain after an extended make out session with his girlfriend during which he didn\u2019t ejaculate. The attending physicians however couldn\u2019t identify what the source of the discomfort was.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This is because emergency medical textbooks and medical libraries hold no actual information about blue balls \u2013 the best that you could do is type it into a web search, where you\u2019ll find reams and reams of mainly anecdotal accounts.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>What Causes Them?<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The dull testicular aching that men attribute to blue balls can be hypothesized as being increased pressure from prolonged arousal.
