There\u2019s no industry standard in the condom business, but there are some approximate averages that manufacturers have adopted as follows:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Condom Length<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Standard condoms:<\/strong> 7.25 to 7.8 inches (18.5 to 19.8 centimeters, respectively)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Snug-fitting condoms:<\/strong> 7 to 7.8 inches (17.8 to 19.8cm)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><strong>Large condoms:<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> 7.25 to 8.1 inches (18.5 to 20.6cm)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Condom Width<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Standard condoms:<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> 1.75 to 2 inches (4.4 to 5.1 centimeters, respectively)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Snug-fitting condoms:<\/strong> &gt;1.75 inches (4.4cm)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Large condoms:<\/strong> &lt;2 inches (5cm)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Once you\u2019ve figured out the size that will fit you best, it\u2019s time to choose. BUT WAIT: Now you\u2019ve got to consider condom materials as well. Most commonly you\u2019ll find <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">condoms made with latex<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, but also variants made with polyurethane, polyisoprene or even lambskin. Bet you didn\u2019t realize how much variation there is in condoms, right?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">While many condoms come pre-lubricated right out of the pack, you can always add a bit of extra lube for added glide, but please note that if you\u2019re using a latex condom, an oil-based lubricant will degrade the latex and can cause breakage.
