So, just how are couples letting go of their sexual constraints? Sexual role play! (among other enticing things we\u2019ll save for a rainy day.)<\/span><\/p>\n

What is Sexual Role Play?<\/span><\/h2>\n

Sexual role play is to take on different personas and <\/span>explore unexpressed fantasies<\/span><\/a>. <\/span><\/p>\n

For many, it\u2019s a way for two or more people to take various seemingly innocent scenarios, and turn them into <\/span>erotic situations<\/span><\/a>. And for some, sexual role play is used as a form of foreplay.<\/span><\/p>\n

Sexual Role Play: It\u2019s Not All Physical!<\/span><\/h3>\n

Another element that makes sexual role play appealing, is that it\u2019s not just about the physical act of getting off. It\u2019s actually just as stimulating for the mind as it is for the body. <\/span><\/p>\n

When one or more partners are able to truly let go in order to <\/span>fulfill their deepest fantasies<\/span><\/a> in the form of role playing, it taps right into the imagination which, in turn, creates an even sexier physical experience. <\/span><\/p>\n

Sexual Role Play Scenarios: Do They Mimic What We Want in Real Life?<\/span><\/h2>\n

While the list of sexual role play scenarios are seemingly endless, all of them will either be similar to a person\u2019s current sex* life, or it will be something so far from their comfort zone that experiencing it in real life would be anything but favourable.<\/p>\n

For example: A fairly common, run-of-the-mill role play would be the whole student\/teacher scenario.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s a power play, of course, where the teacher is seen as an authoritative figure, and the student is often referred to as a\u00a0\u201cnaughty boy\u201d<\/em>\u00a0or a\u00a0\u201cbad girl\u201d<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The student then needs to be\u00a0\u201cpunished\u201d for their dirty behaviour<\/a><\/u>, and so a seemingly normal scenario is turned into a sexual role play.<\/p>\n

But then, if we look at say, rape role play \u2013 an illegal, immoral, and violent sexual act \u2013 some men and women may be frightened about having these kinds of fantasies.<\/p>\n

The truth is though, these fantasies are just that \u2013 fantasy. They don\u2019t have to hold any negative implications when simply kept as such. They are also fairly common. Research shows that about four in 10 women say they\u2019ve had rape fantasies and even more (52%) say they\u2019ve had a fantasy about being overpowered by a man.<\/p>\n

But why are so many men and women attracted to the idea of being overpowered or rape fantasies? For some, it\u2019s the notion \u00a0that a man (or woman) becomes so overcome with passion and desire that he\/she simply cannot control his\/her sexual urges. \u00a0For others, it\u2019s the (imagined, not real) loss of control that is exciting.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0strong, forceful play<\/a><\/u>, that could involve BDSM toys such as\u00a0blindfolds<\/a><\/u>\u00a0or\u00a0hand and feet restraints<\/a><\/u>, pertaining to sexual lust for the woman\/man can be exciting \u2013 when done in a safe and consensual space. Having this kind of fantasy does not mean that you crave to rape or be raped.<\/p>\n

Why Should You Try Sexual Role Playing?<\/span><\/h2>\n

This enticing bit of play isn\u2019t a new idea by any means, but it sure is a good one for a number of reasons: <\/span><\/p>\n
