LELO Brand Communications Specialist



Our new Brand Communications Specialist will be a non-traditional, ambitious marketing professional who desires to work on cutting-edge creative marketing campaigns with a genuine global reach. Working as part of LELO’s Cannes Lions award-winning in-house team, you'll be expected to be smart in conceiving and executing breakthrough ideas through a variety of channels targeting the US, European and Australian markets. Possessing an ‘anything is possible approach’ and genuine drive to overcome the obstacles facing the intimate lifestyle industry, you will thrive alongside talented designers, digital marketing and communications specialists to push the LELO brand to even greater heights. A doer as well as a thinker, one who does not settle for the expected and conventional, but works to push ideas beyond the norm – we want candidates passionate about what is possible in the newly formed, content driven marketing space.


  • Help craft compelling product and organizational brand strategies for new and existing products and offerings, coordinating and guiding global team, both directly and in partnership with some of the world’s leading retail chains.
  • Develop forward-looking brand plans to drive LELO brands forward and into new territories, being the voice of the brand in all its manifestations, in both offline and online worlds.
  • Collaborate with various functions to develop brand stories and communications strategies to bring stories to life and drive brand architecture and brand portfolio thinking across the organization.
  • Collaborate with creative, product development and media teams to take ideas from conception to realization.


  • Portfolio of original or breakthrough campaigns, or a strategic understanding of how to break from the norm and make a brand stand out, based on demonstrable experience.
  • At least 3 years’ experience as an Brand/Communications/Advertising Specialist in a corporate or agency setting (MUST have experience in working on developing creative content for earned media channels)
  • Sound knowledge of the brand communications environment and understanding of branding are essential.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to drive and work as part of a fast-paced team in a start-up atmosphere.
  • Great at team-members to achieve something truly special, acting as a champion for innovative ideas.
  • Self-driven, fearless interest and curiosity in taboo-breaking ideas, along with a healthy disrespect for the impossible.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proficient with PC platform; working knowledge of WordPress Content Management Systems a plus

Minimum educational level:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field.

Preferred experience:

  • Minimum 3years marketing experience as senior team-member, agency background welcome.

Languages Required: Native or 100% Fluent English speaker

  • Responsible for locating new business opportunities in new markets
  • Discover and partner with the most respected distributors in UK opening new cities for business
  • Responsible for determining the potential profit that the company can garner from a given market and compare this to the costs that the company might incur.
  • Drive regional brand building strategy for LELO in UK
  • Execute locally LELO’s marketing, product and retail strategies planned by the Global Marketing Team to ensure local consumer connectivity and identification with the brand.
  • Profitably expand geographical footprint for the Brand using a combination of owned, partner and licensed models.
  • Build LELO culture within your Country’s Sales Team and ensure deep connection and credibility within mainstream market.
  • Be the primary connection with Global Offices in Product, Retail, Marketing and Operation functions
  • Manage P&L for entire division
  • Meet and exceed targets
  • Provide high level of service to all accounts within territory

Reporting to the CEO for LELOi AB and aligning with our European Offices, Global HQ and in-house manufacturing base.

Knowledge, skills & abilities:

  • Strong knowledge of business and management principles
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and supervise a staff team
  • Have exceptional project management skills, showing ability to coordinate and oversee a number of projects concurrently across multiple functional company departments
  • Should work with pro-active nature and be able to use own initiative
  • Professionalism with regards to conduct, appearance and confidentiality is essential

Minimum educational level:

  • Business, Marketing or Communications Degree preferred or equivalent experience that can be shown to benefit LELO interests.
  • MBA is a plus

Minimum experience:

  • A minimum of five years of experience in business management, planning and financial oversight.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in personnel management, including hiring, supervision, evaluation and benefits administration.
  • Executive experience in Retail, Fashion, Apparel ,Cosmetic or Drugstore Industry is a plus
  • Proven skills in business and financial management.

Trade Marketing Specialist

As a Trade Marketing Specialist you will be a key role in all LELO/PicoBong product launches and B2B Campaigns working alongside talented designers, copywriters and marketing specialists.
Focused on the US, European and Australian markets, this position is situated in our global marketing office, located in down-town Shanghai. With more than 15 nationalities in our team we offer a multicultural, high pace working environment.   • Work closely with Trade Marketing Manager to develop and implement B2B Campaigns globally.
  • Coordinate with creative team and copywriters on the creation of marketing and promotional materials requested by local regions.
  • Analysis of LELO & PicoBong presence on third parties and propose actions to take to increase brand awareness and customer engagement.
  • Coordinate product and POSM portfolio, identifying new initiatives and streamlining resources to benefit both on online and B&M sales.
  • Undergo continuous research on Adult Industry trends and competitor analysis.
  • Lead a wide range of projects from implementing new digital marketing strategies, to preparing training materials for retailers and sales managers within the organization. 


  • The Trade Marketing Specialist reports directly to the Trade Marketing Manager, cooperating and communicating horizontally with marketing and research specialists, graphic designers, and communication teams across the organization. 


Knowledge, skills & abilities:

  • Genuine passion for building a brand, and increasing its global value.
  • Great analytical, strategic and organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Interest in sales and commercial aspects of the business.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to create rapport and marketing strategy buy-in on a global level, copywriting skills a definite plus!
  • Practical problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently, no back-seat team candidates required.
  • Fluent English level is essential. 
  • Minimum educational level:
  • Bachelor's or Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university in marketing, business, communications or related field.
