Choosing the Perfect Couples’ Ring: TOR™2 or PINO™?

It might seem like men get the short end of the stick when it comes to sex toys designed for them, especially ones that they can use to share pleasure with their partner during lovemaking. Cock rings, sometimes called male rings or couples’ rings, provide exactly that with a pleasure object perfect for enhancing and extending pleasure for both partners. If you’re looking to buy your first cock ring (or buy one for your partner), we offer an introduction to TOR™2 and PINO™ and some insight into choosing the best one.

How They Work

Both TOR™2 and PINO™ are flexible circles of body-safe silicone―roughly  3cm(1.2 inches) unstretched, and 5cm(2.2 inches) stretched―and both vibrate. This provides extra sensation to a female partner, while (gently) restricting blood flow to provide longer-lasting, fuller-looking erections. That’s right, a cock ring will make your penis bigger and help you last longer.

The Revolutionary Pleasure of TOR™2

TorII_green_shaAn upgraded version of one of our first male sex toys, TOR™2 is a consistent bestseller, and a great introduction into sex toys for men. It’s the smaller of the two in terms of the vibrating portion and has a simpler design, but don’t let its innocuous outside fool you.

With 6-vibration patterns and improved strength over its predecessor, this petite ring packs a punch. Its compact shape makes is perfect for first time users, as well as for positions that are more up close and personal, such as missionary or when sitting in a lotus position. In these positions, the woman will be able to grind against her partner; letting TOR™2 stimulate her clitoris as they enjoy sensual face to face pleasure. The flat face of the vibrating portion also allows for less localized stimulation of the clitoris, which some women prefer.

It’s one of the most refined cock rings on the market. Simple and elegant which keeps it as one of our longest-running top sellers and perfect for your first cock ring, or your first long-lasting luxury one.

PINO™, The Only Sex Toy Made for Bankers

PINO_Product_Federal-BlueWhere TOR™2 is unassuming, just seeing PINO™ makes you sit up and pay attention. The first sex toy expressly made to satisfy the most demanding of appetites, it boasts a significantly larger vibrating portion with a unique shape to stimulate a woman whether it is placed on top of the penis or flipped upside-down to rest under it. Its size and shape (not to mention its increased power in 10 vibration patterns) give you a variety of ways to use it. Standing up, in rear-entry sex positions, reverse cowgirl…the options are endless and all allow both partners to feel the thudding vibrations of this ring.

Conclusion

Both TOR™2 and PINO™ feature waterproof design allowing use in the bath or shower (and making them easier to clean) and they are stretchy enough to accommodate all shapes and sizes.

The devil really is in the details, and depend fully on your personal tastes. Some prefer the simplistic, classic designs of TOR™ 2 and some find the unique, pronounced shape of PINO™ better for them and their partner, or even more enjoyable as an addition to masturbation. If you still can’t decide which would suit you best, you can always leave it to color; TOR™2 comes in black, plum and green while PINO™ is one of the few LELO product that are available in federal blue.

  1. I’m sorry to disagree with your review, I purchased the Pino and while it does all things you claim it to do, unfortunately it is massively too tight, after ten minutes my penis was bruised and then trying to remove it it was like it had fused into the skin, I couldn’t separate one from the other, I had to wait it out until I went slack to remove it. It was not a great experience and now lives back in its box away from our normal toys.

  2. I agree with Brett. too tight removing all the fun for me. The tor is even worse. both had high hopes but are now in the drawer.I tried trying to stretch it over a bottle and left it for weeks but it would not improve .

  3. Hi there, thanks for the comment! Perhaps it might help if you could provide a little more information: are you wearing it around the shaft alone, or the shaft and testicles together?

  4. Hi there, thanks for your comments and don’t apologize for disagreeing: everyone has a different experience. That’s what this forum is for! Do you mind if we ask how exactly you were wearing the ring?

  5. Hi Katy, happy to answer any questions for you, I was wearing the pino only around the base ot the shaft with the vibrating part closest to my pubes, (away from my balls).

  6. Too tight on the penis? Oh hell no . . .

  7. Hi there! To offer additional information about TOR™2 and PINO™, the diameters of the inside of both rings are 3cm(1.2 inches) unstretched, and 5cm(2.2 inches) stretched. So, they should fit most people snugly, but if you experience discomfort while wearing one, you should take it off.

If you already have one and find it a little uncomfortable, it can still be a powerful part of sex and foreplay. You can put it around your fingers and use it as a finger vibe on yourself or your partner; it feels quite nice!

  8. I purchased the tor cock ring & have difficulty getting on a lot of friction on penis. Question should i use a lub to cut down on friction & what is the best way to use. thanks Les

  9. Hi!
Thanks for your question, and most certainly! If you are having difficulty putting on your couples’ ring, you can add some water-based, personal moisturizer to the inside of the ring as well as to your penis. It should go on much more easily, but still may require you to stretch it. Please let me know if you have any other questions!

  10. My fella also suffered the too tight issue and whilst he’s a decent size, I wouldn’t say he was well over average in terms of girth.

  11. Another that finds it excruciatingly tight! It’s now in the drawer unlikely to ever come after only one day! Very disappointed.

  12. Thanks for your comments everyone. In light of this we’ve amended the article and other product materials to more accurately reflect the size of PINO. The truth is PINO and TOR are quite similar in size, but TOR is stretchier because PINO needs the additional strength. We advise potential customers to try TOR first, or try a few inexpensive ones first until you know what’s comfortable. If you do have any more questions, don’t hesitate to ask.

  13. Isn’t hindsight great, how about you send me out a free Tor and I’ll road test it and leave a review, other than that I’m not spending anymore of my money on Lelo.

  14. Tor was too tight for my guy, too and he is on the small side (perfect for my small yoni).

  15. Hah. This thing can’t even get on easily even with me pulling it open then after lots of lube it went on but was excruciating no way could I leave this on for more than five seconds immediately my penis started to get unsightly like it was going to pop and I am slightly wider than average “I need magnums for comfort” but I am by no means a porn star! How can I return this thing as it seems it was made for a child! I feel like it was way overpriced and maybe LELO should stay out of the men’s toys as I own multiple toys I purchased for my wife but this one is really for a baby or something!
