This Contest is Over: Thanks Everyone!

Congratulations to Marina Reid Hale, Maria Casillas, Christine McCall and Heather Scott. You’ve got some great LELO prizes coming your way!

——————-

It’s certainly no secret that LELO loves women. In fact, we’d be nothing without you. That’s why March 8th, International Women’s Day, we celebrate all females, and reflect on the remarkable impact women have had on humanity, and also acknowledge how far there is still to go to a time when ‘the fairer sex’ can count on universal fairness.

However your incredible gains, triumphs and advances in empowerment have made LELO possible, and for this we thank you – and if giving away premium pleasure items for free isn’t a great way of saying ‘thank you’, we don’t know what is!

  1. My Grandmother is the most inspiring woman I know. She is the woman who taught me unconditional love. She places everyone else first and is the first one up and last one to bed. She is not happy unless you are. She is my role model and super heroine.

  2. Each woman in my life are inspirations in their own unique ways!

  3. the most inspiring woman i ever met was my sister in law, she was a quadriplegic and never let that get in her way of enjoying her life

  4. Apple Boticario

My Mom. I will always look up to her. She was smart, strong, independent woman.

  5. My mom is my most inspiring woman. She is the strongest person I know too.

  6. One of the most inspiring woman that I look up to is Simone de Beauvoir. She was a writer, intellectual, philosopher, activist, and feminist. She wrote “The Second Sex” which was part of the foundation for contemporary feminism. She addressed how men would mark women as the “Other” in society, some mystical thing that men don’t understand and don’t have to try to understand which in essence is oppression by hierarchy. And she didn’t discriminate between who she loved. Women and men are both human and at the end of the day I just want to get off too!

  7. The most inspiring woman that I look up to is my beautiful girlfriend, who take care of her three young children and work at the same time.

  8. All the women in my life are amazing but one of the women I admire most is Rebecca Gomperts, the Dutch physician responsible for Women on Waves. She and her crew pick women up in places where their reproductive rights are not respected, sail into international water, performs medical abortions, and takes them home. She and her organization does this after threats, leggings, and being harassed by Portuguese warships. She’s amazing.

  9. I would say my great -grandmother. She raised 4 girls, and half the neighborhood. (Though, I’m prettty sure she’d be rolling over in her grave being mentioned on the Lelo site.) Plus she did it with great pride while living in a polka-dotted house.

  10. I got a twit, saying I actually won, I´m so excited, yet I cant send you guys a DM, apparently bacause you´re not following me, what can I do, so we can proceed with whatever comes next. Thanks.
