How Do You Use & Clean the LELO F1s

It seems sometimes to me that as I get older, sex is just moving on without me. Every time I turn around, there’s a new fetish that I’m only just hearing about, or new and amazing sex toys that are just begging to be tried – and everyone knows about them but me.

UNTIL NOW.

I am the proud owner of the revolutionary LELO F1s Developer’s Kit RED

How? Well, glad you asked: both of the new LELO SexTech products feature something called Cruise Control and SenSonic technologies (more on them in a sec), but more revolutionary is the fact that they are open-source. Meaning that if you’re an app developer or coder, you will be able to make them do just about whatever you want.

Just to be clear, this is not designed or marketed as a thrusting device. Although the shape may resemble some “pocket pussies” out there, this device is all about the powers of the sonic waves that pulsate beyond typical male masturbator stimulation.

For instance, if you were a coder or developer you could feasibly create your own pleasure patterns suited to your specific tastes – and that’s just the simple example. A far more advanced programmer could create an entire suite of modules for stamina training, based on performance tracking thanks to 10 sensors located throughout the F1s.

While all of that is supremely cool – I am no coder or programmer. That being said I still opted for the LELO F1s Developer’s Kit RED – the more expensive of the two, just because I am a damn diva and it’s only the best option for me, or nothin’ at all.f1s hole for insertionSo let’s get down to it – the actual USING of the F1s Developer’s Kit RED. My first and very full-throated suggestion to any prospective user is to definitely (obviously) use lube, and a lot of it. Whether you’re circumcised or uncircumcised, or are even a person who doesn’t normally use lube, you’re gonna want to (there’s a reason why condoms are lubricated on the inside). And no, for a product like this you shouldn’t be using your tried-and-true hand lotion; definitely use a water-based lubricant that won’t have any adverse effects on the silicone interior of the F1s.

While you can learn more about the diameter of the LELO F1s Developer’s Kit SexTech items elsewhere, I need to point out that these items, like other masturbation sleeves for men that you should be hard, or at least semi hard before inserting your penis – so that’s just what I did.

Also worth noting as there was a bit of confusion when I got it out of the packaging is how to hold the LELO F1s during use. How much confusion? Well, enough that I had to email the LELO engineering team (yes, I am a dunce).

If you’re unsure of how to hold your LELO F1s, the most basic advice is that the LELO logo on the front (ie the non-insertion) end of the device should be facing away from you during use.

The opening where you insert your penis is round with one flattened edge. The flattened edge of the opening is intended to be against the underside of your penis, shaped in a way similar to an opened mouth.

I decided to be fully inside of the F1s before turning it on and here’s where it gets interesting – When it’s on, trust me, you’ve never felt anything like it before. It uses SenSonic technology. While that may mean absolutely nothing to you now, it’s the same technology which LELO pioneered in their best-selling SONA clitoral massager. SenSonic delivers sonic pulses that go deep into your genital tissue, much more than the surface buzzing of a vibrating toy.

You’ll feel the toy reverberating all throughout your shaft, down to the base and the only word that comes to mind for that type of feeling is ‘all-encompassing’.

Something else that came in way handy when I was getting near the end was the Cruise Control feature. As I was nearing orgasm I was applying pressure to push myself a little deeper. Usually when you’re bearing down so much on a sex toy you will lose some of the vibration. Cruise Control senses this, and despite my rather vigorous enjoyment of this product, I didn’t experience any drop in power. Thanks, sex scientists!

When it was all done, I have to give LELO extra points for making the SexTech F1s items waterproof, meaning that clean-up was easier than it would be with just about any other motorized masturbation sleeve. You can spray and rinse with LELO Toy Cleaner or warm water and antibacterial soap. A cotton swab can be used to clean the “mouth” of the device. Never use cleaners using alcohol, petrol or acetone. Silicone-based lubricants and hand creams can also make the silicone permanently tacky.

However, now I am faced with a problem.

The LELO F1s was good. So good in fact that I am a little hesitant to make it a habit to use, lest it ends up being the only kind of pleasure I will ever want. So from here out, the LELO F1s will be a treat for me every now and then – something to look forward to, and look forward to it I will!

  1. What is the minimum penis size to use the F1s? Length and diameter?

The inner silicone sleeve on the F1s is incredibly flexible. We recommend a minimum width of at least 40mm. The insertable length of the device is 110mm, however, since it is dual motor, one of the motors sits at the top of the device near the entrance.

  2. Hey everyone! Just got mine today and it was a blast, like the best experience with a toy ever. The only issue I have with it, kind of embarrassingly, it might just be a tad bit small. Might have a bit of an, air gap issue, to put it lightly… If there was just a smidge more room on the “girth” side of things this would be without a doubt the perfect toy for me. Thanks LELO!
