There’s no better way to celebrate a milestone than by giving back, and that’s exactly what we did in Sydney, Australia as part of our continued 10 year anniversary celebrations last Thursday, 16 May.
We hosted a star-studded event where homegrown celebrities like singer-songwriter Timomatic, fashion mogul Danny Avidan, sexologist Nikki Goldstein, fashion designer Charlie Brown and many, many more flocked to Hugo’s Lounge for an evening of glitz, glamour, and giving back (and pizza!).
On the night, we held a charity auction of Flickering Touch Massage Candles featuring some unique designs from even more Australian stars, which went on to raise more than six thousand dollars for the McGrath Foundation. Among the packaging designers were pop star and X Factor Australia Judge Dannii Minogue, TV personalities Larry Emdur, Natalie Bassingthwaighte and Natarsha Belling, and theater director and So You Think You Can Dance judge Bonnie Lythgoe.
The McGrath Foundation’s mission is to fund nurses around Australia who provide free support and education to people and families affected by breast cancer, and increase breast cancer awareness across the country.
In an evening full of good cheer for a good cause, one of the widest smiles in the room was on the face of LELO Oceania General Manager Jo Radnidge. “We are so excited about this event. McGrath is a wonderful organization and we couldn’t be happier to team up and celebrate with them and all these amazing people here in attendance,” said Radnidge.
